BlueCross NC is the only insurance company offering Qualified Health Plans in all 100 counties. However, for plans effective January 1, 2020, Bright Health, Cigna, and Ambetter will be offering Qualified Health Plans in limited counties across the state.
There are many other health insurance offerings that are not considered Qualified Health Plans such as Short-Term Insurance, Christian Health Share Ministries, and Supplemental plans that are offered across the state.
